Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-08-30 · Texas Well & Pump Exam Prep
This policy explains what Texas Well Exam Prep (“we”) collects when you use Texas Well & Pump Exam Prep, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We collect as little as the Service needs to work.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Email address — required to create an account and to send your sign-in link. We use passwordless sign-in, so we never collect or store a password.
- Messages you send us — if you contact support.
Information created by using the Service
- Purchase records — what you bought, the amount, the date, and when your access expires.
- Study activity — practice test attempts, your answers, and scores, so you can see your own history and progress.
Information we do NOT collect
- Payment card details. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference id.
- Passwords — sign-in is by emailed link.
- Social security numbers, license numbers, or government identifiers.
2. Why we use it
- To create your account and sign you in.
- To give you the access you purchased, and to know when it expires.
- To show you your own practice results.
- To provide support and respond to you.
- To keep records we are required to keep, such as transaction records.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
3. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect sign-in forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Blocking these cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.
4. Service providers
We rely on a few providers to run the Service. Each receives only what it needs:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your payment details and email directly. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Our hosting and database providers — store the site and your account data.
- Our email provider — delivers your sign-in links.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account and study history while your account exists, so returning customers keep their progress. Transaction records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time — see below.
6. Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@texaswellexamprep.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Deleting your account removes your personal information and study history. We may retain transaction records where law requires it. Deleting your account does not refund unused access.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example, Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and residents of some other states and countries have comparable rights. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.
7. Security
Connections are encrypted in transit. We store no card data and no passwords, which removes the two most sensitive categories entirely. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we hold so that a breach exposes as little as possible.
8. Children
The Service is intended for adults pursuing professional licensure and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new date at the top.
